Privacy policy

Tetradian is the sole owner of the information collected on this Web site. We only gather information we need to serve you better and will not - without your consent - sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement except in cases where in good faith we believe that the law requires us to do so, it is necessary to protect Tetradian's rights and/or property, or if circumstances necessitate acting to protect the personal safety of staff or of the public.

This website operates under the jurisdiction of the Australian National Privacy Principles, as specified in the Privacy Act 1988 and Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000:

  • Personal information: personal information includes information-items such as name and email address. You do not need to provide any personal information in order to use most sections of this website; however, if you choose to use 'member-only' features such as the SEMPER diagnostic, you must create a user-account containing a user-ID, personal name and a valid email address. This information is used only for protection against misuse of the website, and will not be transferred to others or used for any purpose not specifically related to the use of this website.

  • Storage of personal information: personal information as described above is stored on a web-host database, and in copies of the database created at intervals for backup purposes only. Database access is restricted via controlled user-accounts/passwords; physical backups are maintained in a secure location.

  • Automated identification: this site uses 'cookies' to track user-sessions. These are locked to the web-host (i.e. Tetradian), and cannot be transferred to any other web-host. On your browser, basic session-tracking 'cookies' will be deleted automatically once the session expires. Whilst you are logged-on to use 'member-only' features, however, a pair of 'persistent cookies' will be retained on your browser, enabling you to continue the session at a later stage without re-logging on. For your protection, we advise you to 'log off' at the end of your session; this is especially important if you are using a machine that may be shared by other users.
    • Note: if you disable 'cookies' on your browser, you will not be able to use the 'member-only' features of this website.
